Dr. Scott Townsend grew up in Claresholm, Alberta, in a small farming community, 100 km South of Calgary.
Scott played hockey throughout High School, eventually playing in the Western Hockey League (center, wing, defence). His teams include the Spokane Chiefs, Medicine Hat Tigers and the Lethbridge Hurricanes. After leaving the WHL, Dr. Townsend enrolled in the University of Calgary, with a focus on Biology and Sciences.
He graduated from the University of Alberta Dental School in Edmonton, with a Degree in Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Townsend worked in Calgary as a Dentist for many years. He is now happy to be working with the entire Dental Team at Sandstone Dental.
Scott enjoys meals with his family, which includes his two beautiful daughters. He also enjoys an active lifestyle that includes running, biking, golfing, skiing, swimming and skating.
